Can I learn my DVM withot completing a bachelor's degree?
Yes! it is possible to be accepted into our DVM program as long as you have completed the pre-requisite courses and meet all of the admission requirements.
Can I use US federal direct loans?
Yes. Qualified students are eligible for US federal direct loans.
How will I live in St. Kitts?
The first seven semesters for the DVM program take place in St. Kitts. The last three semesters are completed at an AVMA-accredited* school or college of veterinary medicine in the US, Canada or abroad. You will be asked to give us your top 3 clinical placement choices.
If I've filled out the VMCAS application do I need to fill out Ross Vet's as well?
No. If you have completed the common application with VMCAS you can send it to us via VMCAS.
I would definitely recommend going to Ross Vet. It is going to be different, but that’s why there is a real sense of community. Everyone is supportive. Everyone is looking out for you, making sure you’re succeeding, because the professors and your classmates want you to succeed.
