Accredited* by the American Veterinary Medical Association Council on Education, our Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) program offers an accelerated, broad-based curriculum that prepares you for all facets of your veterinary careers. What is the DVM curriculum like?

Preclinical Curriculum consists of 127 semester credit hours of specifically prescribed course work. The Clinical Curriculum consists of three semesters of clinical training at an AVMA-accredited* school of veterinary medicine in the US, Canada, Ireland or Australia that is affiliated with Ross Vet.

How long does the Ross Vet DVM program take to complete?

The DVM program is designed to be completed in 10 semesters, or 3.25 years.

What is VetPrep?

Ross Vet offers a one-semester Veterinary Preparatory (VetPrep) program for students who may benefit from specific courses that will enhance the likelihood of their success in veterinary school.

FINANCING YOUR EDUCATION

AID OPTIONS

Student loans from governmental and other agencies, combining family resources and private sources are all typical ways students finance the cost of their veterinary school education. You can borrow for up to the per-semester cost of attendance.

SCHOLARSHIP OPTIONS

Ross Vet offers a number of veterinary school scholarships you may apply for before beginning your first semester, as well as throughout your student career. New scholarships are added as we receive them, so check back frequently.
